About the role:
Gen3 is looking for a Microsoft PowerApps Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of highly scalable, long-lasting, and secure low code no code apps and services. This is an opportunity to engage with development teams that employ sophisticated consulting skills and substantial technical expertise to solve problems and produce unique solutions to challenging problems for the Veteran Affairs using user centric design. Using the Microsoft Power Platform, out-of-the-box SharePoint capabilities, workflow tools, or SharePoint Designer-created applications, you'll design front-end solutions, dashboards, and applications.
Location: Remote, US.
What you'll do:
- Experience building and executing Power Automate flows, as well as setting up/managing customized PowerApp connections.
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps CICD pipelines, SPOnline, and SharePoint 2016.
- Experience with scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Powershell) and web application development (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, or.NET-based tools) is required.
- Microsoft Power BI experience (dataflows, datasets, reports, visualizations, KPI scorecards).
- Experience in data storage, database creation, data modeling (relational/dimensional), and analysis approaches using SQL Server and SQL queries is required.
- Knowledge of Power Platform security management, Model Driven App solution export/import, and Power FX for modification.
- 4+ years of expertise configuring, deploying, administering, governing, and testing web-based applications in an Agile environment using Microsoft Power Automate, PowerApps, Power Platform Architecture/principles, Dataverse, and Model Driven App Application Development.
What you'll need:
- Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Math, or technical equivalent with 10 years of professional experience or a total of 18 in lieu of education.
What's desired to have:
- Azure Certification
- Ability to build Azure data factories by extracting data, establishing pipelines, activities, data sets, and related services
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform Admin Center, or other CRM/ERP systems is required.
- Experience supporting the VA
- Experience with platforms such as JIRA and Confluence
- Experience migrating SharePoint or PowerApps across multiple environments.
