Job Summary


The Manageability Product Team is responsible for building and leading the industry "best-in-class" management platform . We have a unique opportunity to execute on our "Unified Fabric" within the Product Management team at NetApp. NetApp platform team is looking for a Senior Director, Product Management. This role reports to the Vice President of Product Management and works closely with On-Prem and Cloud teams, Solution architects, Outbound PM and GTM, Product Marketing, Sales and Data Analytics. The candidate should have experience across multiple manageability domains (Identity & Access Management, Observability, Deployment & Orchestration, Billing & Metering, etc.) This is a strategic leadership role that requires a deep understanding of manageability domains and proven expertise in product management.


Job Responsibilities


  • Build highly scalable unified UI platform for on-prem and hybrid cloud.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in manageability domains such as Identity & Access Management, Observability, Deployment & Orchestration, Billing & Metering, etc., providing guidance and thought leadership to the team and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to align product strategy with business objectives and contribute to the company's overall growth and success.
  • Leads a team of talented product managers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success, to deliver high-quality products that meet our business goals.
  • Efficiency: Reducing development overhead , accelerating future projects.
  • Business: Driving additional product utilization , upsell & cross-sell opportunities.
  • Builds product vision to simplify data management for on-prem and hybrid cloud customers.
  • Develops, aligns, and executes on product strategies across the Manageability product portfolio.
  • Partner & Customer: Reduce TCO through simplified & enhanced management ( UI, APIs and tooling)
  • Define product roadmaps, prioritize features, to ensure timely and successful product launches.


Job Requirements


  • Collaboration & Communication - Builds strong connections with internal and external stakeholders to create and deploy portfolio, product, solution, and delivery strategies.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable with all levels of management and able to communicate and present effectively to executive audiences.
  • Expert in Hyper scalars (AWS , GCP , Azure) UI facing features in customer Interfaces.

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on building manageability products.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Customer Value Creation - Works with Analysts to articulate our strategy and optimize our positioning in relation to competition.
  • Deep understanding of building manageability products
  • Results Oriented - Works closely with the product team to help prioritize roadmap and ensure execution of the vision.
  • Expert in Cloud Consoles and customer Interfaces.
  • Problem Solving - Thinks about problems from different perspectives and leverages data driven analysis to drive roadmap development and prioritization.
  • Market & Product Knowledge - Deep understanding of enterprise storage, Identity & Access Management, Observability, Deployment & Orchestration, Billing & Metering, etc.).
  • Leadership: Inspiring/influencing indirect teams through transformation.
  • Expert in building high scaled Platforms , UI facing customer facing components .
  • Data-driven mindset, with proficiency in leveraging analytics and market insights to inform product decisions.


Education

The base salary hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is $231,210 - $305,470. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law. In addition, the position may include some of the following comprehensive benefits such Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), sick time, leave of absence as per the FMLA and other relevant leave laws, Company bonus/commission, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s).
