Job Description

My client a chemical manufacturing company in Baltimore is recruiting for a Sr. Buyer, IT. This position can be located in Baltimore or Houston and it is a hybrid schedule.


Sr. Buyer, IT – Reporting to the Sr. Procurement Manager, this position will be responsible for or supporting the global integrated supply chain transformation to drive strategies and implement solutions focuses on the IT category.


  • Negotiate purchasing agreements with key vendors
  • Work cross functionally within Integrated Supply Chain
  • Manage supplier quality and conduct supplier audits
  • Search for new suppliers and evaluate their capabilities


The Ideal Candidate

  • 3+ years of experience sourcing IT
  • 5+ years of experience in a sourcing role
  • BA/BS
