Job Description
It is the primary responsibility of the Special Events Attendant to assist with various special event/marketing/promotion functions. Attendants are the customer service representation of this department. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.


Specific Job Functions


  • At least one year previous event experience preferred.
  • Must be able to move in and around the Casino/Hotel areas and other special event promotion location (on/off property) with loud noise and smoke filled environment.
  • Must be able to meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist, balance and work at a desk for long period of time.
  • Must be able to withstand high and/or low temperatures, heat and sun exposure.
  • Must be able to work indoors/outdoors and various shifts, including any day of the week, evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Provide excellent customer service when working with guests at events.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, lift or carry up to 40lbs during a period of time.
  • Must have an excellent upbeat attitude and personality with the ability to interact with people of diverse background.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paces environment with minimal supervision.
  • Must have professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Assist with ongoing special events including Slot & Table tournaments, golf tournaments, floor promotions, player parties/events and handle additional tasks as identified.
  • Must be able to interact well with internal and external guests and work as a team.
  • Must be able to simultaneously handle the demands of many Guests and management, while maintaining a friendly and positive personality at all times.
  • Clerical/labor work (scoring keeping, operates office equipments, data entry, filing, operate photography camera, printers, gift assembly, folding shirts, etc…).
  • Must present a well-groomed business appropriate appearance and adhere to TI employee handbook.
  • Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 40lbs (stanchions, boxes, signage, etc…) items required for special events/promotions.


1167 It is the primary responsibility of the Busperson PSDYX – Gilley’s to maintain assigned section and tables in a clean sanitary condition while working in conjunction with Food Servers to ensure outstanding guest service is constantly achieved. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.


Specific Job Functions


  • Assist with stocking equipment & supplies
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining great guest service and product quality
  • Assist with the cleanliness and restocking of all side stations
  • This position requires all employees to wear black slip resistant shoes as part of their uniform
  • Previous Busperson experience preferred
  • Clean and sanitize chairs & booth cushions
  • Serve water, coffee and soft drinks, refill when needed
  • Place dirty dishes and utensils in proper order in bus carts and maintain clean supplies in cart
  • Mandatory testing on restaurant menu knowledge (Information will be provided)
  • Ensure all lost and found articles are immediately turned into Management
  • Maintain bus cart in a clean and orderly condition and return to the side station after each use
  • Ensure dining room floors are clean and free of spills and debris
  • Work with server to ensure proper guest service
  • Clear, clean and sanitize tables completely and reset with clean salt & pepper shakers and sugars
  • Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written form
  • Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department
  • Must have an excellent upbeat attitude with the ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds
