Job Description
Summary


Marketing & Special Events Aquarius (Laughlin, NV) Description:


Coordinates and orders advertising signage through the creative department. Maintains property signage including casino floor signage, marquees updates, plasma’s throughout out the casino and Aquarius In-room channel and outside signage. Assist with all Aquarius and Edgewater special events.


Essential Functions And Responsibilities


  • Maintain and report monthly jackpot total reports.
  • Open and maintain deadlines for creative jobs/requests for all collateral: On/off property signage, printed collateral and digital media.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Monitor the company website and assist with executing changes/additions.
  • Assist other areas with production and distribution of in-house flyers.
  • Coordinates and execution of promotions, tournaments, concerts and other special events with the Special Events Manager and other departments.
  • Maintain accurate keeping, reports and security of all player records.
  • Submit purchase requisitions for various marketing expenditures.
  • Maintain records and reports for all events in a timely manner as required by gaming and company regulations.
  • Monitor and coordinate all property signs, off property signage and all digital media, ensuring all on-property collateral and signage are up-to-date and are posted in a timely manner.
  • Works with vendors and Corporate Creative to ensure signage and collateral is delivered and installed in a timely manner.
  • Manage and maintain creative files of all digital media players throughout the property by using the Signalive program.
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards


Requirements


Qualifications


  • Verify right to work in the United States
  • One year of marketing or promotional experience required.
  • Basic PC skills complete working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word programs.
  • Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
  • PowerPoint and Photo Shop preferred.
  • Two years gaming experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours.
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Must have high school diploma (or equivalency).
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Needs to be able to distinguish between shades of color.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects up to 20 lbs.
