The Production Library Team is looking for an experienced Software Engineer in the area of Library Characterization and Modeling Automation. As part of the Design Enablement Group, you will contribute to world-class standard cell and register file library development, and releases for CPU, Atom, GT, mixed signal IPs, Client, Sever, Chipset projects.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must have a BS degree with 6+ years of experience -OR- MS degree with 4+ years of experience or PhD degree with 2+ years of experience in Electrical Engineer, Computer Engineering or related.

6+ years of experience in the following:

• Programming and automation skills using one of the following: TCL/Python/C/Shell Scripting.
• One of the following: Experience in VLSI Design using one or more of the industry standard tools like Liberate/PrimeLib/Hspice/FineSim/PrimeSim/Spectre/Redhawk/PrimeTime/Voltus in Tcl/Python

Preferred Qualifications:

6+ years of experience in the following:

• Experience in developing and supporting tools/automation for a fast-paced, geographically distributed and demanding customer-base.
• Knowledge in one or more areas of Liberty File Format/Standard Cell Characterization/Timing Analysis/IR drop Analysis/Reliability Analysis

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $156,410.00-$250,410.00

• Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
