Job Purpose:

MuleSoft Software Engineer . This position is a key technical resource for all new integration and API development and ongoing support initiatives with a focus on the MuleSoft platform.

Responsibilities And Associated Duties

The Software Engineer will be responsible for implementing requested features in the company software systems. This includes but is not limited to custom software applications, web applications, database systems, legacy systems, and integration of 3 rd party systems. The Software Engineer will play an integral role as part of the larger technology team for project and ongoing support delivery.

Key Duties

• Collaborate to determine project scope and generate actionable items.
• Assist in implementing standards and procedures within the software development lifecycle to align with industry best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Develop and participate in the implementation of software solutions.
• Assist in assessing and mitigating risk to minimize impact of changes.
• Lead the development of ACW’s application services architecture.
• Hands on development of solutions using the latest Microsoft Technologies
• Build and maintain thorough technical documentation.

General

Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Software Engineering or related field
• Relevant work experience of 5+ years in an Application Development role
• Experience using common development and productivity tools.
• Strong experience of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Ability to function independently, receiving high-level and/or strategic guidance from IT leadership.
• Ability to decipher business requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical customers
• Experience working in Cloud and hybrid cloud environments (MS Azure preferred)
• Experience with developing in an Agile team.

Technical

• Microservices architecture experience a plus
• Experience integrating with Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations preferred.
• Development experience with Microsoft stack
• Strong experience in Integration Architecture, Integration Patterns, Web Services, API Architectures, SOA, REST, Messaging and API Driven Development.
• API Lifecyle & Management experience: Specification, Design, Development, Security and Governance experience.
• Ability to integrate with 3 rd party systems and off-the-shelf solutions.
• 3+ years of experience in development of enterprise-level MuleSoft projects throughout implementation lifecycles with demonstrable success.
