How will you make an impact in this role?

American Express is in the midst of an exciting product and technology transformation driven by an energetic new team of high performers. If you have the talent and desire to deliver innovative customer data driven products at a rapid pace, serving our consumers seamlessly across physical, digital, mobile, and social media, join our transformation team! A seasoned Senior Software Engineer with a passion to build data intensive systems is wanted to partner with the Customer 360 Platform team in a bid to change the technology landscape.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience with various architectures: Domain Driven Design, Microservices, Cloud Native and Event Driven Architecture
• Knowledge of object-oriented design, web development, and building REST APIs in Java and micro-services in Vertx.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
• Good understanding of NoSQL databases like Couchbase.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience

Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
