Required Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0
• Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with a graduation date of December 2023 or later

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Linux and MacOS operating systems
• Have taken relevant supporting math courses such as linear algebra
• Good software engineering and communication skills including proficiency in computer languages and technologies such as such as C++, Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Github
• Basic understanding of spacecraft telemetry data as well as the JPL NAIF Toolkit
• Basic knowledge of 3D graphics principles and software such as Unreal Engine, BabylonJS and Unity
• Web app development using frameworks such as AngularJS, React and FastAPI

The typical hourly rate for this job in Pasadena, California depending on education level is $36 in year 1, $38 in year 2, $41 in year 3, $43 in year 4.
