Job Description
Our client, a boutique digital agency in Orange Country, CA specializing in health, wellness, and beauty, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven remote part-time Social Media Strategist / Consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive social brand audits, setting benchmarks, and developing strategies to elevate their clients' social media presence across platforms like Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram. This Associate level, contract role will work on a remote schedule.
Responsibilities:
  • Create engaging, compelling, and on-brand social media content ideas that align with the clients' overall marketing strategies.
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of social media strategies, identifying areas for improvement and implementing adjustments as necessary.
  • Analyze the quality and relevance of content produced for social media platforms, ensuring it is aligned with the brand's identity and resonates with the target audience.
  • Evaluate whether the established benchmarks align with the correct Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Develop and implement tailored strategies to enhance clients' social media programs, including setting future KPIs and performance measurements.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and expansion on various social media channels, recommending the best platforms for clients to engage with their target audience.
  • Perform thorough social brand audits to assess the effectiveness of clients' current social media programs on Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, target audience, and desired outcomes for their social media presence.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, features, and algorithm changes across Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram to leverage new opportunities for our clients.
  • Collaborate with the content creation team to guide the development of impactful and visually appealing social media assets.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, providing regular reports to clients and making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
Qualifications:
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in social media strategy and consulting, preferably within the health, wellness, or beauty industry.
  • A passion for health, wellness, and beauty, and a keen eye for industry trends and consumer behaviors in these sectors.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively convey recommendations and strategies to clients.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative social media strategies and content ideas.
  • In-depth knowledge of Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram platforms, including their respective best practices, features, and algorithms.
  • Excellent understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and experience setting benchmarks to measure social media performance.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
