Social Media Specialist Jobs

The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for bringing social media ideas to life through content creation, photography, graphic design, excellent writing, social monitoring, and reporting on effectiveness of strategy. The successful candidate will have a strong and intimate knowledge of the social media landscape, content development and writing creative copy. The Social Media Specialist must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, be a self-starter, and be team oriented.
Candidates for this position must possess a minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in social media for a brand or agency.

• Working with social media team to pull data and reports to assess effectiveness of strategy.
• Innovate new and creative ways to use social platforms and digital content to tell stories, empower advocates, storytelling of esports, heighten the student experience, connect with grads, and grow awareness
• Creates, manages and grows Full Sail’s brand and esports presence across social media channels, including, but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Twitch, Facebook, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Formulate compelling copy and content ideas as well as project manage asset creation
• Utilizing social listening tools to understand current conversations and how it can create new social opportunities
• Assist in day-to-day social media strategy, campaigns and execution
• Monitoring ongoing social and cultural conversation to identify content opportunities and act through copy, photography and/or graphic design
• Accountable for the creation of presentations in a timely manner
• Become an active community member for Full Sail & Armada in social media and third party channels, including responding in a timely manner and making updates and posts
• Have a comprehensive knowledge of trends, tools, applications and emerging technologies in the social media space.
• Write and manage an evolving editorial calendar on a daily/weekly basis
• Assists social media team on site in support of Full Sail & esports events.
• Working knowledge and real-world experience in planning, managing and executing social media initiatives.
• Have exceptional writing skills to create copy for social media assets
• Working cross-functionally with brand and public relations teams
• Creates content including photography and/or designing imagery for social media channels.
