The Monster Group seeks a Social Media Specialist responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engage with target audiences, and achieve marketing objectives. They play a crucial role in planning and executing social media campaigns, creating compelling content, monitoring social media platforms, and analyzing performance metrics. The social media specialist stays up to date with industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to drive the company’s presence in the digital landscape.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute effective social media strategies aligned with the company's marketing goals and target audience. Identify key messaging, content themes, and tactics to increase engagement, brand awareness, and customer loyalty.
· Create and curate engaging and high-quality content for social media platforms, including written posts, visuals, videos, and infographics. Ensure content is aligned with brand guidelines, resonates with the target audience, and drives user interaction.
· Monitor and engage with the company's social media community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Foster meaningful interactions, address customer concerns, and encourage user-generated content.
· Plan, execute, and optimize paid social media advertising campaigns to reach target audiences effectively. Collaborate with digital marketing teams to align strategies and maximize campaign performance and return on ad spend (ROAS).
· Manage and maintain the company's social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms. Monitor platform trends, algorithms, and user behavior to inform content and engagement strategies.
· Track, analyze, and report on social media performance using relevant metrics and tools. Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), campaign effectiveness, and audience insights. Provide recommendations for improvement based on data-driven insights.
· Identify and collaborate with relevant influencers, bloggers, and brand ambassadors to expand the company's reach and engagement. Develop and maintain relationships with influencers to support marketing initiatives and drive brand advocacy.
· Stay updated with social media trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies. Recommend innovative strategies and tactics to leverage new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
· Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, communications, design, and customer support, to align social media strategies with overall marketing campaigns and initiatives. Coordinate efforts to ensure brand consistency and effective messaging across all channels.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Relevant certifications or additional training in social media management are a plus.
· Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing, preferably within a similar industry.
· In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, their algorithms, best practices, and advertising capabilities.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging social media content.
· Strong understanding of social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights.
· Creativity and ability to think strategically to develop innovative social media strategies and campaigns.
· Proficiency in using social media management tools and scheduling platforms.
· Familiarity with social media advertising platforms, targeting options, and performance tracking.
· Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple social media platforms and campaigns.
· Understanding of algorithm principles and their application in social media content.
· Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle and resolve customer inquiries or issues on social media platforms.
Work Conditions & Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for long periods of time and work at a computer is required. This position is remote temporarily, the position will be onsite after headquarters grand opening, paid relocation available.
