Summary:
Qgiv is looking for a Social Media Specialist to develop and implement content for our social media calendar and communications. In this role, you’ll plan and create social media content to educate customers and prospects and increase public awareness of Qgiv. If you’re a great storyteller, know your way around multiple social media platforms, have a knack for writing and design, and are comfortable being both behind the camera and in front of the camera, we’d love to hear from you! Substantial Position Goals
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate social analytics and results on a quarterly basis
  • Covert social media followers into top of funnel prospects
  • Create engaging content for social media based on industry trends and best practices
  • Increase awareness of the Qgiv brand through various forms of social media content strategy and advertising
  • Expand Qgiv’s social reach by improving upon and executing social targeting and advertising strategy
What To Expect
  • Create and manage a social media content calendar to ensure design requests, client contact requests, and other supporting materials are submitted and delivered on time
  • Occasionally respond to after-hours messages from customers (no, we don’t expect you to be on Facebook at 2 am!)
  • Work with the Creative Director and design team to create social media templates and ensure that all graphics, videos, and media adhere to brand guidelines
  • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, and shared images) – request updates as needed
  • Create regular video content (Reels, jumping on differentimplementing TikTok trends, and occasionally getting in front of the camera) to highlight’s Qgiv’s culture and shares fundraising best practices with our audience
  • Demonstrate company culture through “inside looks” at Qgiv, holiday posts, happenings around the office, etc.
  • Be a brand ambassador, engaging with influential industry leaders, partners, and customers in a dialogue on social media to cultivate relationships and spread awareness of Qgiv
  • Report social media insights, growth, and content strategy to Qgiv’s PR and Communications Manager
  • Design and implement social media strategy based on current benchmark trends and audience preferences that aligns with business goals
  • Promote social content using a researched target strategy, analyze results, and adjust for improvements
  • Support webinars, conferences, and events with social coverage
  • Generate consistent high-quality social posts that are in line with Qgiv’s brand standards and written in Qgiv’s voice (e.g. original text, quality photos, videos, and news)
  • Uphold a welcoming, informational, and fun social voice for Qgiv with an emphasis on our passion for our customers and the difference they make
  • Promote content across social platforms through paid ads, using researched targeting strategies that produce increased reach and product visibility
Requirements
What you need to be successful
  • Customer service-oriented mentality
  • Experience in creating graphics and videos
  • Comfortable working under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role is a plus
  • Strong project and time management to keep projects moving forward
  • BS/BA in Marketing, Communications or similar field
  • Video creation experience
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills
  • Strong communication skills with experience in relationship management
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and collaborating effectively
  • Must have a keen eye for detail and curiosity for learning
  • Familiar with product marketing tactics (integrated marketing campaigns)
  • Solid knowledge of social media tools (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Youtube)
  • Approaches projects with a sense of urgency to ensure timely posts/responses
  • Creative mind with strong quantitative skills
  • Familiar with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
