Social Media Specialist - TinySuperheroes


We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Part-Time Social Media Specialist to join our team. As a Social Media Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing our social media presence and engaging with our online community. You should be comfortable with photography, online community management, creating organic content, crafting marketing emails, and creating Facebook ads. Your creativity and strategic thinking will contribute to building brand awareness and driving customer engagement across various social media platforms. This person will work closely with the Director of Marketing and execute the overall marketing and growth strategy for TinySuperheroes.


TinySuperheroes is a transformative organization dedicated to empowering children overcoming illness, disability, or adversity. Through Capes, communities and Missions, we celebrate the uniqueness of each child, instilling them with a sense of strength and resilience. By fostering a supportive community and encouraging storytelling, we inspire young superheroes to share their journeys and connect families facing similar challenges. With our global reach and unwavering compassion, we are changing lives and reminding us all of the extraordinary power that lies within every child.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Take photos of new products to be used in content
  • Analyze social media metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Oversee Facebook Group to assess engagement and growth
  • Identify trends and make data-driven decisions
  • Creating and posting organic social content
  • Design and test different Facebook Ad creative

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, at times with little to no direction
  • Comfortable designing and creating social media content
  • Understanding the importance of attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Able to navigate social media platforms (i.e., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in design, marketing, business or related field is preferred
  • Experience in a professional Social Media role preferred


This is a part-time contract role that is primarily remote, but will require an occasional presence in our St. Louis office.
