This position must be located in Chicago, IL.

This person will own and execute the social media program for Press Ganey and its key executives, and will work closely with the Social Media Specialist for the Forsta and Rio SEO brands.
As Social Media Specialist for Press Ganey, you’ll be responsible for setting the social media strategy for the brand, and for ensuring a steady drumbeat of communication and engagement over Press Ganey’s social media channels, including (but not limited to) LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube. This is a cross-functional role, working closely with the broader Marketing team, People team, C-suite executives and an impressive group of highly accomplished, knowledgeable healthcare thought leaders. You’ll also have the opportunity to support the PR function and to track and optimize our performance across both earned and social media.

Qualifications
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
  • A head for storytelling, across written, graphic and video formats.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Experience with Oktopost, Brandwatch, Meltwater or a similar performance tracking software is a bonus. An ability to quickly come up to speed on new software is essential.
  • A curious mind and genuine interest in dialogue around the healthcare and technology industries, so that you continuously seek out new opportunities to engage in online conversation.
  • Healthcare industry experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience in social media management.
  • An eagerness to collaborate with peers who work in content marketing, creative direction, video production, product marketing, customer marketing, human resources, paid media/demand generation and more.
  • The ability to write social posts in an engaging brand voice. Professional, but not jargon-y. Conversational, but always appropriate to the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor the general news cycle + healthcare and technology news + social media trending topics to identify and seize upon opportunities for engagement.
  • Ensure that we are implementing best practices and staying current on new opportunities to grow and engage our social media audience.
  • Monitor and engage with social media messages, inquiries and comments, and elevate any issues amongst internal stakeholders, as needed.
  • On an ongoing basis, develop and curate engaging content for Press Ganey’s social media platforms, and amplify existing news, thought leadership and press coverage.
  • Come up with creative ways to highlight the internal culture of Press Ganey, including company events, our DEI-focused employee groups, and individuals with interesting stories to tell.
  • On behalf of the Press Ganey brand and our team of thought leaders, interact with clients, partners, journalists and influencers over social
  • Track and optimize social media performance on an ongoing basis (reactions, shares, click-throughs, new followers, etc.).
  • Track brand reputation over social and earned media using a tracking tool (Oktopost) and report on findings.
  • Develop a list of priority influencers to follow, and find ways to engage with them.
  • Maintain a social media calendar, tracking relevant cultural moments, industry events, the news cycle and coordination with your peers in content marketing, events, the DE&I committee, Employee Resource Groups. and more.
