Job Description

This position performs a combination of duties, mainly related to managing and supporting the PR and social team and Mod Op's clients through organic and paid social programs. The Social Media Manager reports to the PR & Social Media team lead and is an integral part of a team that is tasked with creating strategic and engaging social media programs for clients.
Job Responsibilities
  • Participate and assist in social listening opportunities for clients
  • Keep abreast of changes to platforms, technologies and tools
  • Understand client business objectives and develop paid campaigns to meet them including outlining campaign objectives, target audiences and ad formats
  • Regularly monitor campaigns and programs, provide key insights and optimization recommendations
  • Assist in the development, improvement and implementation of client and agency processes
  • Create and report against testing parameters related to new opportunities for existing clients, especially when testing new platforms and/or ad formats
  • Provide social media community management across a range of clients and channels
  • Use social media marketing tools such as Sprout Social, Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaigns Manager and more
  • Present on performance findings at month/campaign end both for organic and paid social programs
  • Assist in the new business process as needed
  • Communicate effectively to all stakeholders
  • Collaborate with team members on new and emerging trends, capabilities and opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients when working on client-facing projects
  • Develop, curate and implement organic and paid social media strategies, and execute them across platforms including but not limited to Facebook (Meta), Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest
  • Assist in training junior team members on all aspects of organic and paid social programs
  • Manage workload and priorities when working across a variety of clients with similar deadlines
  • Conduct competitive and owned channel audits as needed for new or existing clients
In addition, a top priority is contributing to the success of our clients as well as contributing to the creative and collaborative culture of the agency.
NOTE: Your resume must be in English.
Requirements
  • 5-6 years of experience in social media management, agency experience preferred
  • Proficiency across all major social media platforms, both organic and paid, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Twitter and LinkedIn
Bonus Points: Experience in TikTok strategy, YouTube strategy and Pinterest advertising
