Job Description

Social Media Manager

Our PNW-rooted client is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to support their organization in managing social media creation and strategies! This is an excellent opportunity to get a foot in the door with a recognized establishment that takes pride in putting people first.


This is a hybrid role requiring qualified applicants to commute weekly to offices in Portland, Oregon.


Social Media Manager Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and implementation of social media strategies across the organization.
  • Maintain compliance with current regulations and internal policies.
  • Create, review, edit, and post engaging content; monitor for engagement analytics.
  • Manage various social media platforms while maintaining alignment with the organization's brand and objectives.
  • Perform audits, prepare reports, and maintain best practice documentation.
  • Serve as a mentor and/or trainer as required.


Social Media Manager Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of marketing channels and social media platforms.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of progressive social media management experience including 3+ years of responsibility leading social media strategies.
  • Excellent communication and writing (copywriting, branded storytelling, editing).
  • Collaborative and team-oriented.
  • Organized with solid time management skills and attention to detail.
