Job Description
The Social Media Manager helps establish, promote, and grow the organization’s brand identity via


multiple media channels, including: online, social, and print. The Social Media Manager works with key stakeholders, including the Sales and Marketing team, operations leaders, and third‐party partners, to plan and produce content that engages our various audiences.


Responsibilities:


  • Build a following on social media.
  • Responding to customer reviews via online channels.
  • Manage content across all social media platforms.
  • Brainstorm with team members to develop new ideas.
  • Writing, editing and proofreading content (social media, newsletter, articles, etc.)
  • Provide editorial, creative and technical support to team members.
  • Producing original visual content via photography, videography.
  • Track web analytics to ascertain content engagement levels.
  • Formulating a cross‐platform content strategy.


Required Skills/Abilities:


  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Creativity and the ability to develop original content.
  • Adept at keyword placement and SEO best practices.
  • Experience with social media management.
  • Ability to develop content that provokes engagement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with popular content management systems.


Education and Experience:


  • 1‐2 years agency experience or in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications or related field, preferred.
