POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a social media copywriter with exceptional writing and technical skills to write and post media copy on social networks for SHEIN and its select sub-brands. The social media copywriter’s responsibilities taking global messaging and editing it down for social media copy, optimizing copy based on the audience’s reaction, and working cross-functionally with the social media marketing team.

To be successful as a social media copywriter, you should be prepared to constantly update relevant social media pages, formulate strategies to increase brand awareness, and respond to customers’ queries politely. A top-notch social media copywriter should analyze data related to audience responses and adjust the copy to increase brand awareness.

Social Media Copywriter Responsibilities

• Using different writing styles to appeal to different demographics.
• Increasing brand awareness and readership by using relevant advertising techniques.
• Improving and adjusting copy based on reactions by readers on social media.
• Writing excellent, target market-related copy for social media platforms.
• Maintaining a visible online brand presence and adhering to SHEIN’s and/or its sub-brands marketing goals.
• Selecting appropriate images or videos to complement the text.
• Promoting products and services by corresponding with customers on social media networks.
• Converting marketing ideas into a hashtag, blog, or longer post for different social media networks
• Attracting and increasing traffic to the website by adding links to your content.
• Tracking and reporting on social media responses by analyzing traffic to the site.

Social Media Copywriter Requirements:

• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to multi-task and switch tone of voice from brand to
• The ability to adapt to new technology.
• The ability to create original web content with images or videos.
• An ability to be a team player and to multi-task.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience working as a social media copywriter, specialist, senior copywriter, or similar.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Hands-on experience using various social media platforms.
• Strong grasp of social media writing and related language (hashtags, acronyms, Gen Z lingo, etc.)
• Working knowledge of SEO, analytics tools, and keyword research.
• Flexible and works well in a fast-paced environment
• A BA in marketing or communications, or a bachelor’s degree in English.
• The ability to pay close attention to detail brand
