Job Description
Overview:
Location: VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System
Schedule: Flexible. Full time, part-time, PRN, short term, and long term.
Benefits: PTO, sick leave, holiday leave, Life, Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Short Term Disability
Optional Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(K) matching with employee participation in 401(K) plan
  • Position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities:
Counseling Related Services (Includes: Community Counselor; Marriage/Family Counselor/Therapist; Mental Health Counselor; Rehabilitation Counselor; Social Worker (BS); Social Worker (MS); Music Therapist; Art Therapist and Dance Therapist (Registered DTR).
Qualifications:
Education: Master’s degree with practicum

Experience: 2 years working with Veterans as a mental health counselor

Certifications/Licensure: N/A
