POSITION SUMMARY
As the Social Media Community Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the effective execution of key social media activities across top social platforms, planning and analytics for a dedicated client program. You will be required to operate onsite, supporting skincare clients in building the brand presence through strategic development, organic content calendar development, posting & reporting including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and you will be an embedded member of the client team.
JOB DUTIES
- Lead briefings, production management, liaison and approval processes of any social assets/ posts which support daily & opportunistic moments, both in-studio and out-of-studio
- Manage all social media posting from brand owned channels, guarding the overall brand’s look and feel, staying true to the brand’s objectives
- Work collaboratively with dedicated Social Lead to support with strategy and planning and program management
- Plan, develop and coordinate approval of the always-on organic content calendar by social platform on a quarterly and monthly basis; includes creation of social media copy and briefing in creative teams based on program strategy, social media & audience insights
- Monthly and quarterly social media reporting, providing insights and implications about content performance, consumer audience/ behaviors on social, competitor insights & best in class industry examples which further help drive brand social media strategy and increase engagement
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- A strong understanding of popular social media channels such as (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Tik Tok, Snapchat and how to effectively measure content performance on these channels
- Proficient in social media management and measurement tools such as (but not limited to) Sprout Social, Meltwater (Sysomos), Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, social media native platform business/ad managers, etc.)
- Attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to deliver high quality, creative work, learn quickly, and manage deadlines
- MBA or bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Writing strongly preferred (a combination of education and experience can be substituted)
- Minimum 2-4 years in digital, social media, public relations and/or advertising across B2B and B2C companies, with a focus on consumer and F&B industries
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with the digital media landscape outside of social media, may include paid search, SEO or e-commerce experience will be considered an asset (but not a necessity)
- Success in developing and delivering creative briefs to production teams and/or content creators for social media content development
- Proficient in reviewing, analyzing and deriving key insights from social media metrics, including social listening
