About Rare Impact


Rare Impact, Rare Beauty’s signature social impact initiative, aims to reduce the stigma associated with mental health and provide people with access to resources that support their mental health. With a focus on mental health and self-acceptance, Rare Impact aims to support the mental health of our community, employees, and partners around the world.

The Rare Impact Fund was launched by Selena Gomez as part of Rare Beauty’s commitment to making the world a better place by addressing mental health and self-acceptance. The Rare Impact Fund aims to raise $100 million over the next 10 years to support mental health for young people around the world. Rare Beauty donates 1% of all Rare Beauty sales to the Rare Impact Fund. In addition, it raises funds with foundations, corporate partners, and individuals.


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Manage and vet Rare Impact Inbox inquiries
  • Support coordination with key (internal and external) impact partners – including but not limited to Rare Beauty Mental Health Council, issue experts, nonprofits, foundations, and Rare Impact Fund grantee partners
  • Participate in and coordinate cross-functional meetings with teams across the organization
  • Support for the Rare Impact Fund - Coordinate and organize Client Relationship Management (CRM) system, Salesforce thorough: data tracking and entry – donors, grantees; prospect research and mental health relevant statistics; organization and tracking of Rare Impact/Rare Impact Fund partnerships; support of grantee partnerships / outreach
  • Support the team in Rare Impact Programming including but not limited to: Rare Ambassadors, Community events, external speaking engagements and Employee engagement & volunteer programming spearheaded by the Social Impact team
  • Support duties including, but not limited to: drafting relevant external correspondence to Rare Impact and Rare Impact Fund stakeholders; organizing and maintaining Rare Impact Shared Drive; streamlining relevant data with Salesforce for the Rare Impact Fund; updating, and organizing relevant Rare Impact/Rare Impact Fund collateral, supporting and spearheading product pack-outs and product donation tracking; and creating deck templates and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Research and identify relevant data points (quantitative and qualitative) in support of presentations for internal and external purposes
  • Initiate correspondence and requests via internal platforms such as Wrike and Geneva
  • Perform other duties and assignments as required
  • Curate, research, and organize mental health content in collaboration with the other cross-functional teams
  • Support organization and communications with 23+ Rare Impact Fund grantee partners


QUALIFICATIONS


  • Excellent written and communication skills (presentation, facilitation, and written)
  • Strong time management, organization and prioritization skills with the ability to multitask and meet multiple concurrent deadlines
  • Self-motivated, proactive, quick thinking and always a few steps ahead, anticipating the needs of the team and cross-functional partners
  • Takes initiative in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, Canva, and Photoshop a plus
  • Capacity to thrive in a high-growth organization as both a solo producer and eager collaborator
  • Passion for making a positive impact for our people and in our communities
  • Must be available to be in office at least 2-3 times per week and as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team under deadlines
  • 1-2 years experience and/or undergrad/graduate course work in social impact, corporate social responsibility (CSR), business, non-profit management, marketing, communications, PR, or other related field
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while effectively tracking progress and deliverables
