Current hiring rate: $22.50/hour (non-exempt, hourly).

Bachelor’s 365 days of fun includes 4,300 acres of lift-accessible terrain for Skiing and Snowboarding, Woodward Mountain Parks, a world class Nordic Center, Summer and Fall Downhill Mt. Bike Park, Sun Country Tours (White Water Rafting), Sunset Dinners, Zip-Touring and lift-accessible Sightseeing.

Position Summary:
The Ski and Ride School Operations Supervisor will oversee payroll, data analytics, and all staff communications. They will work with data analytics to report trends and assist other supervisors in their roles. Organize and consolidate data and files in the SRS shard drive.

Essential Functions /Major Responsibilities:
Financial
  • Complete ongoing and business analysis.
Employee
  • Audit pay issued for work completed. Oversee Payroll Coordinator and assist in the payroll process.
  • Send all staff communications weekly, and as needed.
  • Audit and verify correct pay rates
  • Ensure documentation and files are organized and available for review by Leadership Team.
  • Ensure safety and guest service huddles and post injury (student/instructor) reports are completed and accurate.
  • End of season closing and equipment inventory and management.
Technical
  • Continually monitor systems for accuracy

Secondary Function:
  • As a member of the Leadership team, Leadership staff members are expected to be an example to front line employees across the company.
  • May be called upon to assist sales staff, teach lessons or run the surface lift.
  • Equipment management

Interpersonal Contacts:
The operations supervisor interacts on a daily basis with instructors, supervisors, managers, customers, rental staff /supervisors/mangers, and sales location staff/supervisors/mangers.

Specific Job Skills:
License/Certifications- PSIA/AASI Level I or higher.
Technical- Computer knowledge (POS, MS Word, MS excel).
Physical Capabilities- Able to work outside in all weather conditions.

Education/Related Experience:
Minimum education required- High School Diploma or equivalent. PSIA/AASI Level I or higher.
Minimum time in related position- 2+ years in a Ski and Ride School supervisory/management position.

  • While performing the duties of this role, the employee will be required to frequently bend, reach, climb, lift over 50 pounds, push, pull, and stand for prolonged periods of time. This individual will frequently be exposed to extreme weather conditions, including heat, sun, and cold. Additionally, the position will require occasional visual concentration on equipment, constant hand/eye coordination, and frequent rapid reactions to changes. This individual must be at least an intermediate skier/snowboarder.
