Overview A Ski Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing ski equipment, such as skis, snowboards, and bindings. They may also be responsible for providing customer service to customers who rent or purchase ski equipment. Detailed Job Description A Ski Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing ski equipment. This includes skis, snowboards, bindings, and other related equipment. They must be knowledgeable about the different types of ski equipment and be able to identify any potential problems. They must also be able to make repairs and adjustments to the equipment as needed. Additionally, Ski Technicians may be responsible for providing customer service to customers who rent or purchase ski equipment. This may include helping customers select the right equipment for their needs, providing advice on how to use the equipment, and answering any questions they may have. Skills Required• Knowledge of ski equipment and its components
• Ability to identify potential problems with ski equipment
• Ability to make repairs and adjustments to ski equipment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working with ski equipment is preferred
• Certification in ski equipment repair is a plus
Knowledge
• Knowledge of ski equipment and its components
• Knowledge of ski safety and maintenance
• Knowledge of customer service principles
Experience
• Previous experience working with ski equipment is preferred
• Previous experience in customer service is preferred
Responsibilities
• Inspect, maintain, and repair ski equipment
• Provide customer service to customers who rent or purchase ski equipment
• Assist customers in selecting the right equipment for their needs
