SHR Talent is partnering with a globally recognized manufacturing organization in its search for a highly skilled and experienced Quality Director. As a leader in the industry, this company is committed to delivering exceptional products to its customers and maintaining the highest standards of quality. The Quality Director is a key strategic role within the organization, responsible for ensuring the overall quality of products and processes, while maximizing operational efficiency.
A successful candidate for the Quality Director role will possess a results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues effectively, strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular audits and inspections, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with quality standards
- Lead a team of quality professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive excellence in performance
- Drive supplier quality management initiatives, establishing robust supplier evaluation and qualification processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce quality control processes
- Foster a culture of quality awareness and accountability throughout the organization
- Analyze data and quality trends, identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and preventing future quality deviations
- Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in quality management, and implement relevant changes as needed
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to introduce new products and ensure successful integration into existing manufacturing processes
- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system that aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Define and implement quality metrics, goals, and objectives, establishing a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of at least 8 years in quality management roles within the manufacturing industry
- Advanced degree, preferred
- Experience in leading and managing quality teams, driving performance improvement, and achieving targets
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of quality standards, regulations, and methodologies, such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing
