Shipping & Inventory Coordinator Jobs

Role Overview
This position is responsible for timely and efficient shipment of items and detailed inventory tracking.
Key Responsibilities

• All other duties as assigned
• Record damaged or defective items and replace them according to company policies
• Responsible to report data regarding to Inventory Control Administrator for tracking (including but not limited to customer specific holds, Raven and headend circulation)
• Facilitate retrieval of video from units returned from Service calls for customers requesting clips
• Work in conjunction with the Inventory Control Administrator to field incoming shipments; determine storage needs, allocate appropriate space within the warehouse and manage movement of inventory; deliver non-warehouse shipments to intended recipients or departments
• Responsible to maintain FIFO inventory rotation
• Ensure that all internal preparations and outgoing shipments are properly labeled and that correlating documents are available with each shipment
• Involvement in physical inventory count as directed
• Assist in loading and unloading deliveries and determine safe ways of stacking items in warehouse for storage and retrieval; operate forklifts to pick heavy boxes and transport them to checking areas
• Arrange for a carrier vehicle or pick-up where necessary
• Responsible for testing of recording units returned from field technicians
• Responsible to assist Configuration Team with programming overflow as needed
• Assist in maintaining organization and aesthetics of the warehouse
• Pick warehouse items and deliver to/appropriately allocate for internal departments as ordered
• Pick warehouse items per order and process drop shipments utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates; document tracking, charges and other shipping records of relevance

Qualifications

• High school diploma

• Three years of shipping/receiving/purchasing work experience or equivalent experience

• Programming knowledge preferred

Work Requirements:

• Requires use of PC for brief and extended periods of time depending upon project.
• This position will be required to work in a warehouse and must be able to occasionally lift and move 45lbs.
