Job Description
About Highspot
Highspot is pioneering the category that is fundamentally changing the way companies increase sales productivity. On a mission to transform the way millions of people work with sales enablement, Highspot is committed to building breakthrough software with a spark of magic. We believe a great place to work is about more than the work – it’s about what the company stands for, and how it authentically represents its values in the real world. To this end, we have put intentional focus on creating equitable workspaces for each of our employees. Our goal is to create a culture where everyone feels a deep sense of belonging and is empowered to be an agent of change, with the ability to transform themselves, their workplace, and their world.
About The Role
Highspot is seeking a tenacious and meticulous SEO Content & Blog Manager to join our marketing team and turn the Highspot blog into a powerful engine that drives material business impact. You will lead global blog content ideation, creation, execution, overall editorial management across teams and SEO reviews of other site content. As an experienced and data-driven writer, you take a customer-centric approach to storytelling as you layer SEO and content marketing best practices and tactics. You will also regularly optimize webpages, existing content, and metadata to improve organic rank and maintain engaging targeted content.
A mindset of continually improving and learning is a must as you combine creativity, research, and writing to craft unique content and drive cross-functional planning across the organization. • Support the Sr. Web Marketing Manager in managing blog keyword ranking and achieving strategic KPIs.
  • Collaborate with the Design team to bring content to life with the use of images and infographics, optimizing for image search.
  • Support the publishing of blogs, website content and resources in our content management system, Wordpress.
  • Independently research sales- and marketing-related topics to create captivating story angles. You’re a driving force of content innovation and new idea generation.
  • Perform ongoing competitor analysis and audience research to identify content gaps and opportunities and drive content planning and creation.
  • Seek opportunities to update existing content, ensuring content is relevant, accurate, and maximized for organic exposure.
  • Develop and manage Highspot’s blog editorial calendar – informed by our overarching SEO strategy, company initiatives, and upcoming campaigns.
  • Lead and drive blog planning meetings and processes. Collaborate with Content Marketing, Customer Marketing, Demand, Partner Marketing, Product Marketing, and Corporate Communications to source content ideas, assign tasks, and support blog contributors in the completion of deliverables.
  • Craft call-to-action messaging that drives lead engagement and conversions.
  • Track, analyze, and monitor blog performance, reporting on traffic growth, engagement, conversions to leads, and MQLS.
  • Manage keyword rank across blog content, including recommending and implementing changes to content, metadata, internal linking, and other factors to improve position for target keywords.
  • Own the end-to-end content creation process – conceive, write, and edit high-quality, original keyword-driven content for varying audiences.
Your Background

  • You have experience with SEO and analytic reporting tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, etc.

  • You enjoy collaborating across boundaries, working closely with various stakeholders and subject matter experts, to deliver work that has business impact.
  • 3+ years of SEO/content marketing, content creation, or equivalent writing experience.
