Job Title: Senior Vice President of Human Resources (HR)

The Senior Vice President of Human Resources (HR) provides executive-level leadership and guidance to the organization’s HR operations. You are responsible for implementing short- and long-range strategic talent management solutions to facilitate a differentiated, supportive culture and employee experience across all business units and geographic regions. Additionally, the role is responsible for ensuring best practice and compliant human resources policies and process through well leveraged technology.


The successful candidate is anticipated to grow into a Chief HR Officer over the next several years. This role will report to the Chief Legal Officer / Chief HR Officer.


Leadership Responsibilities:

  • A leading contributor to Delinea’s Diversity, Belonging and Community Advisory Committee
  • Serve as primary HR Business Partner for Executive Team
  • Position attends CEO staff meeting and senior leadership meetings (top 20 organizational leaders)
  • Global remit with direct leadership and management of a team of 4 which consists of HRBP, HR Ops, and Total Rewards; full HR team of 17
  • Ensure strong collaborations to develop and effectively execute world-class talent programs


What You’ll Do:

  • Data-centric HR leader.
  • Guides Total Rewards team in research, development, and implementation of competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive and recognition programs.
  • Ensures compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, pay transparency requirements, EEO/AAP, immigration, and other requirements.
  • Leads organizational development and cultural development to build healthy, high performing teams while optimizing belonging and connectedness in a remote organization.
  • Act as trusted advisor to CEO and other chief executives, collaborating with executive leadership to define the organization’s human capital priorities and goals, while identifying measurable ways to achieve these goals through talent scorecards and talent management initiatives.
  • Models Intellectual curiosity, keeping current on HR trends and sharing important developments with executive and HR leadership.
  • Drives operational excellence in HR, including ensuring timely and measurable resolution of all employee queries specific to human resources, compensation, benefits, or any other matter.
  • Owns the collaborative development and management of full HR budget.
  • Provides guidance and leadership for a high performing human resources team.
  • Identifies key performance indicators for the organization’s talent management initiatives; assesses the organization’s practices based on these metrics and is inclusive of, but not limited to, effective and comprehensive leadership communications, coaching and mentoring, feedback and talent reviews.
  • Influence HR investments in programs that drive Delinea’s core values, high employee engagement, and a strong employer brand.


What You’ll Bring:

  • Demonstrated organizational, project management skills and keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong experience leading HR organizations outside of the Americas.
  • Demonstrated leadership across no less than 2-3 HR functional disciplines (Total Rewards, HR Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations).
  • Very strong analytical understanding and high comfort with developing and accessing data to develop key insights.
  • High ethics and integrity.
  • Experience with Workday, Glint, and an appreciation of healthy partnership practices with HRIS.
  • A mature and kind leadership style, encouraging team members and ensuring retention of newly hired and highly qualified team.
  • At least 12-15 years of progressive and best practice human resource management experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, persuasive and influential.
  • Solid knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations EMEA, APAC and Americas.
  • Excellent interpersonal, investigation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Business Administration, or related field required.

  • Strong tenure within organizations that demonstrates a capacity to effectively build business relationships.
  • Law or Master’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business, or related field.
