Sentry Management is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, skilled leader to fill multiple Regional Senior Vice President roles as well as other leadership positions available. These position will be based in multiple areas across the US.
SVP ROLES:
The Senior Vice President (SVP) directs and reviews the actions of the Division Presidents to ensure that the divisions are meeting their client service level commitments and overall financial goals. The SVP manages the communication and facilitates intradepartmental cooperation with the Home Office departments, as required to service the needs of the divisions and the association clients The Senior Vice President oversees a wide range of personnel and job functions in addition to special projects assigned by the President. The SVP is expected to embrace the honor to serve our communities, as well as demonstrate kindness, professionalism, and timely resolution in every interaction. They will also abide by the Sentry Promises made to our board members, homeowners, and fellow employees.
REGIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides leadership and assistance to the divisions, including technical direction and work-related advice, with the emphasis on customer service, client retention, and growth
- Develops a business plan for each division and routinely evaluates performance and progress
- Assists leadership in separate business units to achieve annual sales goals and contribution goals
- Meets with VPs and DMs individually, and on a regular basis, to disseminate information and follow-up on outstanding issues
- Helps to analyze markets and competition to identify external threats and opportunities and adapts strategies to changing conditions
- Evaluates the current performance of separate market business units and finds ways to help each reach its full potential
DIVISIONAL OVERSIGHT
- Maintain an understanding of Sentry’s contractual obligations to its clients
- Review monthly summary reports to identify and improve upon trends
- Strategize with VPs and DMs on large client proposals
- Set the strategic direction of the divisions in the assigned region
- Responsible for the evaluation of each VP and DMs individual performance and progress
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond promptly to VP/DM and step in to assist with employee situations to facilitate, as necessary, the involvement of Human Resources.
- Implement and maintain personnel policies in accordance with corporate manual and guidelines
- Support VPs and DMs with initiatives and operations
- Gain and maintain a complete understanding of all resources available from Sentry
- Recruit, select, train and manage VPs and DMs and their subordinates as needed
BOARD ISSUES & RESOLUTION/ CLIENT RELATIONS & RETENTION
- Adhere to our Language of Service with all interactions
- Executive-level trouble-shooting for VPs and DMs
- Solicit employee and customer feedback to improve service
- Respond promptly to VP/DM needs and step in to assist with difficult customer situations
- Closely monitor client transitions and provide support
- Review issues and look for solutions to obstacles or gaps in service

- Affects change, when necessary, in collaboration with the Community Managers, Division Manager and home office department Managers, Directors and VPs.
- Policies and Procedures - Understand and implement all corporate division policies and procedures that impact job responsibility
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Licensed to operate a motor vehicle with a clean driving record
- Previous financial responsibility and oversight of multi-business unit operations required
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent, preferred
- Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory/ region
- Preferred CAM license and experience
- Ability to operate a personal computer and basic office equipment
OTHER LEADERSHIP POSITIONS
These positions will be determined based upon the movement of the SVP Roles and other openings. They will be leadership roles with similar requirements and basic job duties as listed above for SVP. Once SVP roles are determined, other openings will be presented and candidates will be pulled from this requisition.
