About This Team
The Global Distribution Technology organization is seeking a talented leader to lead a multi year transformation initiative to support company’s future network strategy and growth. This role will drive key business and technology strategies in partnership across the PMO, business teams, enterprise architecture, external vendor and engineering teams to implement optimal technology solutions. By partnering closely with the product and program leaders you help manage project scope and ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and met.
A Day In The Life
  • Employ continuous improvement methodologies across own team (e.g. quantify impacts to customer first, eliminate waste, increase productivity, iterate quickly, shorten feedback loop, create relevant KPIs)
  • Responsible for driving the roadmap and technical vision for the team
  • Support your team with empathetic coaching, skills development, and career path leadership.
  • Data driven approach to measure and quantify current system and operational challenges and be able to guide the team on system and process improvements
  • Build, lead and scale a talented team of analysts, engineers and architects globally. Partner closely with business/operations stakeholders and software vendors across multiple work streams simultaneously.
  • Manage process, people and timeline to ensure that high quality deliverables are produced
  • Sets team, technology and process strategy to ensure alignment with present and possible future business needs
  • Contribute to architecture, design, test plans, project plans, deployment planning and operations to drive excellence and lead team towards its goals
  • Guide teams toward best practices and champions and enforces software development and operational support processes
  • Ensure the right skills are being used to solve the right problems across your team.
  • Leads roadmap and priorities for their area, helps drive change across other teams to align technical strategy and establish shared prioritization of deliverables that span multiple teams
Qualifications
  • Education and/or strong work experience in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Detail Oriented, Results Oriented, Problem Solver
  • 12+ years of experience enabling key business priorities through the successful delivery & support of technology
  • Knowledge on AWS or any other cloud platform a plus
  • Possess strong team management skills with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Creative problem solver possessing the ability to measure and improve products and processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work under pressure and during critical production issues
  • Self-starter with the ability to make independent decisions and the judgment to know when to seek guidance
  • Experience leading large scale engineering, functional, and technical strategies preferable for a supply chain domain
  • Prior work experience in supply chain technology at a large retail company is a bonus
  • Proven understanding of the fundamentals of agile processes, deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle, and experience to draw from that helps you build towards a future state while making smart tradeoffs to meet current objectives
  • Experience directly leading, developing people and leading global teams is required
  • Willing to travel to warehouse sites on a needed basis
  • Track record of delivery in rapidly changing highly collaborative, multi-stakeholder environments

Compensation And Benefits Package
For Washington Applicants: lululemon’s compensation offerings are rooted in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position in Washington is from $156,600 - $205,600 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our competitive Total Rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus offering, subject to program eligibility requirements.
