Job Title:Senior Technical Recruiter

Location:Silver Spring, MD orRemote




Description

IBSS is seeking a Sr. Technical Recruiter who is strong at sourcing, attracting, engaging, and hiring highly sought-after candidates in ourCybersecurity, Devops, Devsecops, Information Assurance, and AI/ML.This is a high-demand and low-supply talent community so be ready for a challenge! To be successful in this role, you must have the desire and passion for finding top technical talent and an interest in strategic talent acquisition and sourcing.

You will be working with a team of recruiters and report to the Talent Acquisition Manager.




Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and monitor metrics and reports related to data on recruiting costs and expenses; anduse this information to make process and performance improvement recommendations; assists inthe development of the talent acquisition budget and manages costs associated with programs andexpenses.
  • Negotiates salary ensuring that candidates fit within position budget
  • Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
  • Responsible for the full life cycle sourcing and recruiting the best talent for IBSS and its related business entities: Mentor/Protégé, JVs, Non-Profits, andCommercial (Total Assure) as well as maintaining effective programs forreferralprogram, and succession planning.
  • Optimizing full utilization and features of the JobDiva (ATS) system.
  • Cold calling candidates, building rapport
  • Partner with hiringmanagers and senior leadership to understand Talent Acquisition needs.
  • Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System
  • Utilize technical recruiting strategies and techniques to ensure that service delivery is met.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
  • Designs communicates, implements, and conducts the ongoing assessment of interview tools toimprove the candidate experience and the quality of hires and increase applicant flow throughout the hiring process.
  • Complete the hiring process within defined metrics to minimize overall time-to-start.
  • Deliver on Service Level Agreements/Metrics for assigned job postings/requisitions.
  • Maintenance and execution of current job descriptions
  • Ensures that IBSS applicant tracking system (ATS) is maintained and completed.
  • Continuous pipeline network building across multiple talent profiles such as; Information Security Engineers, Incident Response Engineers, Security Specialist, IAM Engineers, Senior Security Engineers (application and network), Senior Network Engineers, and Cloud Platform experts
  • Build and maintain active candidate pipelines for hard-to-fill, critical positions.
  • Develop an effective and efficient incumbent capture process.
  • Makes employment recommendations based on information developed through prescreens, interviews, reference checks, applications, and resumes.
  • Headhunter, assertive drive for identifying and screening passive candidates.
  • Coordinates in the selection of the final candidates.
  • Determine selection criteria
  • Interviews, and screens candidates for opportunities, ensuring that candidates fit company culture.
  • Identify applicants who meet the position requirements and submit to hiring managers for consideration.
  • Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
  • Recruit full-time, part-time, temporary, contractual, and intern personnel. Manage ownfull life cyclerecruitment (post, source, prescreen, schedule, background, references, offer, onboarding, etc.)
  • Serve as a business partner to hiring managers across all business divisions to develop effectivesourcing and recruitment strategies. Develop effective relationships within the organization and thehiring community to influence and impact the recruiting process to attract top talent.
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing and recruiting strategies to identify and attract seasoned technical professionals in Cybersecurity (protection of network, firewalls, intrusion detection, threat intelligence, Zero Trust, etc.), Information Security (protection of stored data), Network Virtualization, and Cloud Services.
  • Develop, initiate, and maintain effective programs for workforce retention.
  • Partners with Hiring Manager delivering excellent customer service
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and video interviews
  • Improve the referral program by engaging employees to become talent advocates with content andprograms that demonstrate what it means to be a part of the IBSS community.
  • SupportTA projects to deliver a best-in-class recruitment experience to candidates.
  • Provide support in the design, development, and implementation of thetalent review process that is required to achieve results directly to business goals and objectives.




Required Skills /Education/ Certifications & Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong discipline skills
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks
  • Hands-on experience with full lifecycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods or similar experience
  • Strong time-management skills
  • BS in Human Resources, Business or related fields
  • Passionate and a keen interest in Talent Acquisition
  • Desire to learn and ability to work independently
  • Problem solving and tolerance for ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to organize, manage, and prioritize the workload of the project to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to organize, manage, and prioritize workload and multiple tasks/projects.
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Self-Driven and internally motivated
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) - JobDiva desired
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must have at least 5-7 years of experience technical sourcing and technical recruiting in a high-performing, fast paced environment for mostly Cyber or Information technology professionals.

Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency with the Google Suite and Office products
  • Familiarity with ATS, specifically JobDiva
  • Understanding of federal agencies and government contracting
