Responsibilities:
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all hospital supply chain applications.
  • Assists in the coordination of design, development, build, testing, implementation, training, upgrades, support, and overall system management of all hospital supply chain applications.
  • Provide primary support and maintenance for core Supply Chain systems as determined by the System Purchasing Manager. Work with IT for support and maintenance beyond routine scope.
  • Acts as a Project Manager for the implementation/daily performance of current/new Supply Chain Systems including item file maintenance and cleanup, billing code downloads, and UNSPC code maintenance.
  • Maintain an issues work list and conduct regular and thorough follow-up with Supply Chain leadership.
  • Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Immediately reports any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injury-accident to the Manager.
Qualifications:
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
  • Two (2) years healthcare financial, Supply Chain systems, or training experience (with B.S. Degree)
  • B.S. Degree in Business, Systems, or related field or Five (5) years healthcare financial or Supply Chain systems experience
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Knowledge of Allscripts/Meperia applications
  • Five (5) plus years healthcare financial or systems experience (with B.S. Degree)
** BUSINESS OFFICE REQUIREMENTS**

  • S. Degree in Business, Supply Chain Systems, or related field or Five (5) years healthcare financial or systems experience
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED
  • Experience with Excel, Access, and Microsoft Office.
  • Two (2) years healthcare experience.
  • Experience with Allscripts/Meperia.
