As a Senior Supply Chain Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials to our final vehicle assembly plants in York, PA, and Thailand. Your work will directly impact the production lines, keeping them well-supported and meeting the production schedules. Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with our valued suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of parts and materials.
Take charge of daily shipments, reviewing open and past-due orders, and work with logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries.
You'll be the key interface between various departments, including Suppliers, Receiving, 3PL, Operations, Logistics, Customs, Quality, Engineering, and Scheduling.
Dive deep into supplier constraints and bottlenecks, understanding the challenges they face in supplying production parts to Harley-Davidson.
Proactively identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, working closely with other teams to minimize any impacts on our plants.
Utilize data analysis to optimize inventory levels, manage inbound delivery timing, and mitigate risks effectively.
Leverage your expertise in Truckload, LTL, Intermodal, and Parcel networks to drive efficient supply chain operations.
Embrace ownership and drive results with minimal guidance, taking pride in your work and its impact on the larger picture.
Communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner, ensuring all stakeholders are well-informed.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
At least 3 years of related experience in supply chain management.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, working with a sense of urgency and priority.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to foster effective collaboration.
Understanding of MRP elements, Logistics, and Supplier Performance Management.
Preferred
Familiarity with SAP.
CPIM, CSCP certifications.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
