Job Description
General Purpose:


The Supply Chain Analyst provides support to all areas of the business from sales, customer service, inventory management, and logistics. with the overall goal of achieving sales targets while lowering operating expenses. The ability to maximize supply chain efficiency and effectiveness in meeting the demands of a rapidly growing sales team. Provide data management through a combination of data mining, modeling, cost/benefit analysis, and process mapping while executing daily processes and problem resolution to support Transportation for Berkshire Dairy. This position will use systems such as (SAP, Power BI, BluJay TMS, MS Office, etc.); and running, analyzing and providing insights on logistic reports. Lead key projects as assigned by leadership.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:


 Develop and meet inventory goals for the company which effectively balance sales lead-times and inventory turnaround times.


 Receive in all inventory into our system, reviewing all documentation to release for sale


 Track all outbound shipments out of inventory and review documentation to invoice out


 Track damages for claims to suppliers or warehouses based on situation


 Expedite purchase orders and sales orders as needed, resolve customer and supply issues, identify issues to management.


 Perform a super user role working with IT for SAP/BI development to create reporting, automate, and educate the team on reporting capabilities


 Support warehouse relationships and contracts.


 Utilize systems to sustain continuous inventory improvement through allocating and delivery to customer.


 Ensure accuracy of customer data ongoing and during / after the route optimization process within SAP and Blujay.


 Ensure all freight carriers invoices are received properly and paid promptly.


 Work with customer service and sales teams to ensure product is flowing in and out of Berkshire’s inventory efficiently.


 Provide support to the Logistics team


 Assist in identifying opportunity areas for continuous improvement


 Support departmental goals and objectives

Minimum Requirements:


Education And Experience


 Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or related Business or IT Systems


 1-2 Years’ Experience Supporting Logistics Analytics Preferred


 Familiarity with transportation management software


 Project Management Experience Preferred


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


 Strong organization skills


 Customer service orientation


 Knowledge of and skill with Microsoft Office Suite and company systems, especially Excel, SAP, and Business Objects


 Able to resolve business issues to determine root cause and redesigning processes


 Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, for a diverse range of internal and external audiences


 Able to think creatively while developing a solution to a problem


 Able to consider both strategic and practical implications for proposed course of action


 Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple priorities (working in a fast pace environment)


 Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.


 Must be able to read, write and speak English
