Job Description
Overview:
JENSEN HUGHES is seeking a Senior Security Compliance Analyst. The position can be located anywhere in the US. This position reports to the Director of Information Security & Compliance and is responsible for multiple security-focused compliance projects. These projects may be complex and span many offices, departments, and entities. The projects they manage may be long-term spanning multiple years and will include significant business and technology changes. A key success factor for this role in addition to excellent collaboration and communication skills is to conduct internal audits, determine the appropriate remedies, and communicate the resolutions in simple non-technical terms to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform independent quality assurance checks on access management records, incident response records, POAMs, Key Performance Indicators, policy and procedure documentation, system inventory, etc. and gather related supporting evidence to ensure they are being maintained effectively.
  • Collaborate with various personnel as needed to produce effective Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) related to cybersecurity efforts, collect input as needed to update those CAPs, and ensure their timely delivery.
  • Recommend cybersecurity software tools and assist in the development of software tool requirements and selection criteria.
  • Drive the compliance program to meet customer requirements/mandates, specifically compliance with NIST SP 800-171, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
  • Track findings and make recommendations to stakeholders to ensure resolution of any issues discovered in the audits/reviews.
  • Write and maintain information security policies.
  • Develop dashboards / provide summary reporting.
  • Mature and manage vendor management program.
  • Assist with customer contract reviews / security questionnaires.
Qualifications:
Ideal Background:
  • Prior FISMA related audit experience (DoD / DoE preferred).
  • Expertise with NIST SP 800-53, 800-171, SOC 2 and ISO 27001 frameworks.
  • Knowledge of risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk).
  • Extensive audit experience – conducting internal audits, managing third-party audits, or previous infosec auditor.
  • At least one cyber security certification (CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CRISC, CMMC RP).
Candidates should also have:
  • Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products.
  • Minimum 8 years in IT related roles; 5 years of Information Security and related audit experience required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of other common security frameworks (HIPAA, PCI DSS, Sarbanes-Oxley, etc.)
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud security compliance experience.
  • Experience with secure software development principles (OWASP, SAST/DAST, etc.)

US Citizenship or permanent residency is required.
