The Trailhead Content team generates ideas, writes and edits content, develops hands-on challenges, and publishes and maintains Trailhead learning content every day. We believe that content on Trailhead should be accessible, educational, and enjoyable—and this is your chance to be part of it!

Overview of the Role

Salesforce is looking for a Senior Quality Program Manager on the Trailhead Content team to work alongside Trailhead editors, writers, and product & assessment engineers to facilitate the creation and maintenance of high-quality learning experiences for Trailhead learners. This role will program manage the maintenance of existing content and the QA process for new content, develop automated QA testing for hands-on challenge assessments, provide a smooth content production process for stakeholders, be responsible for the content release process, and participate in the Trailhead Assessments & Content Operations scrum team. The work will require thoughtful data analysis, process iteration, technical skills, and developing software applications in concert with technical staff.
You are someone who has experience as a Salesforce administrator or developer, is highly organized with strong project management skills, has strong written and verbal communication skills, and has experience with web-based technologies. You enjoy learning new technologies and are self-motivated to solve problems creatively and quickly. You collaborate effectively with technical writers, editors, project managers, engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Success will be measured by the overall quality of content that is published on Trailhead.

  • Contribute to the Trailhead Assessments & Content Operations scrum team through performing QA for new features and providing business requirements needed to support content maintenance.
  • Build automation tests for hands-on challenges, manage the execution of those tests, and interpret results for quality assurance.
  • Support Trailhead content publication by managing content releases, performing content conversion, providing support to writers and stakeholders, maintaining process documentation, and writing learning content for our Trailblazers.
  • Manage both proactive and reactive Trailhead content QA and testing processes, identifying issues and ensuring content is updated in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 3+ years of project or program management experience
  • Experience writing code (any language)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with front-end web development
  • Earned the rank of Trailhead Ranger or higher
  • Experience with automated browser testing
  • Familiarity with GitHub, including branch management and pull requests
  • Salesforce platform experience as an administrator or developer

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $133,300 to $219,100.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $146,600 to $262,900.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $146,600 to $262,900.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $133,300 to $241,100.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
