Job Description

Senior Python Quant Developer | Top Hedge Fund

Selby Jennings is partnered with a team at a world-class hedge fund that brought in top returns from the market in 2022 and is dominating the market again in 2023.


The Team

The team you will be on resides at the point where quantitative rigor and discipline meet a fundamental investment approach. This team handles one of the largest equity portfolios on the market and is built and scaled by teams of quantitative researchers and developers through optimizing various areas of investment, risk management, portfolio construction, and trade execution lifecycles.


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience using Python (experience with C++ preferred as well)
  • 5+ years of experience within the financial industry
  • Strong commercial understanding of the products you build and strong communications skills to discuss technical aspects with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another quantitative field from a top 25 school
