Product Specialist - Quant Fund - $500K-$1M Total Comp

We are working with an institutional quant fund manager with a 20+ year track record, who is looking to add to their Sales/ Investor Relations team with a Product Specialist. This position will be uniquely placed between Sales/ Investor Relations and also Research, which will also offer project management work with the Research team

The responsibilities of the role will be to act as a subject matter expert in quantitative strategies to:

• Work with current/ prospective LP's to help clients understand the strategies/ performance/ competitive edge of the fund
• Produce compelling white-papers, to position the fund as a 'thought leader', highlighting performance but also wider topics in the macro environment that would generate interest from LP's
• Travel with the sales team to offer technical depth to aide the fundraising efforts

Future growth opportunities are diverse, with options to move into Research or more a more senior Product Specialist role as the team grows, or more senior roles in Sales/ IR - more options could become available as the fund grows

To be considered for this role, candidates will need to have ALL of the below:

a) Candidates will naturally need to have a strong mathematical academic background

b) Have experience in Python, SQL OR R

c) Have written quant/ macro based thought leadership pieces - please provide examples of work when submitting resume

d) From a well known quant manager

e) Candidates will be expected to come from one of the below teams:
