Job Description

Job Title: Senior Project Manager (Higher Education)


Location: Boston

The company

Our client is a boutique owners project management firm who are an experienced team managing a variety of complex projects including laboratories, commercial offices, K-12, higher education and municipal projects. Due to expansion they are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager to work on a variety of higher education projects in Massachusetts.

The position

Senior Project Manager will be the primary point of contact with the client and for all project consultants. They will be responsible for stabilizing and streamlining projects, establishing clear-cut processes and deadlines through risk-based project management. You will be good at building strong client relationships. You will manage the process to ensure the clients goals and objectives are adhered to and met. You will lead and manage multiple projects from inception through to completion.


Could this role be for you?

  • Ideally experience in a Construction Management, Owners Representative, Architectural or General Contracting position.
  • A Bachelor’s degree preferably in architecture, construction management, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in the building design / construction, architecture, and/or civil engineering field
  • Previous experience of delivering higher education projects of a range of sizes.
