ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER - FULL-TIME, ON-SITE


Primo Medical Groupis seeking anEngineering Project Managerwith 2+ years of experience managing engineering programs with a prior background in product design and development. We are searching for anEngineering Project Managerthat has worked for a product development or manufacturing company as a technical contributor and team leader overseeing design and assembly programs on complex mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies. Qualified candidates have hands-on, problem solving skills and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position provides an opportunity to work on programs directly with our customers while managing the internal designers, manufacturing engineers, planners, procurement and production staff to create new and improved complex medical devices. If your background is in engineering design and project/program management, we are willing to teach you medical devices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess and control all resource requirements
  • Manage all aspects of design and development projects
  • Generate product development schedules, design inputs, design outputs, and other design history file elements
  • Develop and manage the relationship of customers, vendors, and internal resources to drive project deliverables


Experience and skills required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university; engineering degree preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required to allow effective participation in cross-functional project teams.
  • A candidate with 5+ years of product development experience in the medical device field preferred.
  • Must possess hands-on capabilities of working side-by side with all levels of the Primo Medical Group organization and outside customers.
  • Experience working with SolidWorks is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
  • Must be a goal-oriented, service-driven leader who can assume responsibility for multiple business functions, while demonstrating personal accountability and total project ownership.
  • Experience working under an FDA and ISO regulated Quality Management System (QMS) is preferred.
