Senior Product Manager, Driver App

The Gridwise app is the leading business platform for gig economy drivers, helping them maximize their earnings and track their business performance all in one place. Our app is currently supporting a growing driver network that represents 10% of all US gig drivers.

Growing to possess one of the largest gig-driver networks in the mobility industry has enabled Gridwise to amass the most comprehensive gig mobility dataset in the industry and capitalize on a $50B data-as-a-service opportunity through Gridwise Analytics.

Gridwise is on its way to becoming the de facto operating platform for gig drivers and offer solutions that empower the entire ecosystem with solutions built to improve the way people and goods move.

The role

Gridwise is looking for a talented product manager to own and shape a meaningful portion of the product roadmap for our gig worker experience. In this role, you will be responsible for holistically defining how workers use Gridwise to efficiently and effectively get gig work done, and provide services that empower workers to grow their earnings.

As a product manager at Gridwise, you’ll use your strategic, analytical, and technical skills to drive the product lifecycle from strategy, to planning, to execution. You’ll use data and leverage market research to identify and test strategies that advance product-market fit and growth, and work with a tight-knit cross-functional team to deliver and launch products and features that set the standard for gig-economy workers.

What You're Responsible For

• Understand the competitive landscape for gig economy products, and use customer feedback to identify new market opportunities and develop strategies for capturing those opportunities.
• Work closely with Design, User Research, Engineering, Data Science, Business Development, and other cross-functional teams to prioritize features and ship products.
• Be the company’s ‘go to’ expert and internal evangelist in your product area.
• Be a strong leader who facilitates collaboration. Demonstrate the ability to continually contribute to refining the team’s processes while empowering team members to feel heard and respected.
• Identify clear, measurable metrics to track the success of your products, and the hypotheses you need to prove along the way.
• Drive the full product lifecycle for your product area, from research, design, specification, metrics, definition, development, launch, and beyond.

What We're Looking For

• Comprehensive knowledge of agile product development best practices.
• 4+ years experience building high-impact products for consumer audiences built to delight users and to rapidly scale. Gig economy experience is a nice-to-have.
• High degree of user empathy and ability to balance advocate for the user while advancing the needs of the business.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams on fast-paced projects with impact and scale.
• Passion for making gig work a better pursuit for our users. Patience to solve hard problems and work around operational roadblocks.
• Strong business sense, intellectual curiosity, and desire to become a subject matter expert in a complex ecosystem.
• Exceptional written and presentation skills; ability to distill complex problems into simple documentation tailored to the audience.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
