The Senior Procurement Manager is responsible for negotiating contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms for procuring goods and services in alignment with business requirements. This role involves identifying, evaluating, and managing external suppliers and leading strategic reviews with comprehensive category knowledge. The objective is to ensure the right business requirements and supplier improvement actions are in place and delivering value.


The role entails managing relationships with external suppliers, negotiating advantageous terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts. It also involves identifying and evaluating new vendors in line with business needs and monitoring service level agreements and performance standards for existing vendors. The Senior Procurement Manager collaborates with stakeholders to strategically manage their category and ensures that all value delivered aligns with the Procurement goals.

As a Senior Procurement Manager, you will be entrusted with several responsibilities, including:

  • Collaborating with global category Procurement team members to optimize global buying power while addressing local business needs.
  • Proactively monitoring and mitigating internal and external risks.
  • Leveraging deep Procurement expertise and tapping into the extensive Procurement network to adopt best practices and identify opportunities.
  • Partnering with one or more Business Units (BU's) or commercial functions
  • Overseeing large-scale, cross-BU projects.
  • Developing the procurement strategy for the BU(s) and leading sourcing and negotiation efforts in line with the strategy.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in leading procurement for a specific supply category.
  • Project management experience.
  • Proficiency in generating data insights for performance metrics.
