Procurement Manager- Snow

Summary

The Procurement Manager- Snow is a leader in our procurement department who understands the snow removal industry. The ideal candidate has ample experience with snow removal and can work within our procurement department to find reliable service providers who can deliver exceptional service under the Caliber Service Management umbrella. They are responsible for building strong relationships, facilitating communication before during and after snow events, and resolving problems. This position reports directly to our Manager- Procurement Operations. This is a full-time position that preferably operates out of our Glenmoore, PA office. The ideal candidate must be available to adjust work schedule during high peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tasks related to interviewing, identifying, and qualifying new snow vendors
• Work to qualify and contract vendors, building collaborative relationships
• Work directly with Sales team to identify and prepare for incoming sourcing opportunities and utilize this information to research new SPs, staying ahead of all awards
• Advise team on maintaining positive communication with vendors on insurance and other compliance requirements
• Onboard qualified service partners through the compliance process and adoption of company applications and software
• Manage pricing negotiation and service terms with vendors for contracted services while maintaining margin guidelines
• Manage and oversee team of vendor sourcing specialists
• Analyze opportunities and risks with team, vendors, and vendor onboarding team; recommends resolutions to leadership

Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Office preferred
• Experience with managing a team including onboarding, development, and performance management
• Advanced verbal, written, and phone communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong analysis and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as within the larger team

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required, Bachelors degree preferred
• 3+ years experience in snow removal industry required
• Supervisory experience required
