Ainsley Search Group is hiring a Regional Purchasing Manager(Hybrid) with experience in MRO, Opex and Capex procurement to join a Global Manufacturing Company located in greater Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will lead the regional procurement, sourcing and supplier management for CAPEX, MRO, OPEX categories, based on annual spend to manage assigned categories, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop category & procurement strategies, analyze data concerning market condition, procurement & sourcing activities to mitigate risk, negotiate with suppliers, manage contracts and improve overall supplier management. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with lucrative compensation and competitive benefit.
Main responsibilities:
· Report to Manager of Indirect Categories to manage assigned MRO, OPEX, and small CAPEX Project including category business plans, global market and pricing analysis, and procurement process development.
· Develop category, sourcing, and procurement strategies to optimize annual spend; monitor and analyze spend data to identify area of improvement.
· Mitigate risk by monitoring and analyzing market condition, index pricing, etc. to manage supplier metrics and performance, improve and develop supplier scorecard and KPI to drive performance improvement.
· Support supplier selection, sourcing, and auditing with global and domestic sourcing & procurement team, optimize category strategy based on demand on categories.
· Manage supplier contracts, conduct contract review and audit, negotiate, and renew contracts with suppliers to align with market trend and drive cost saving.
· Develop and execute categories negotiation strategies with suppliers, including specific targets for pricing, service, quality, intellectual property, tool ownership, etc.
· Develop global category strategies and define plans for cost savings, risk assessment, mitigation, and service level optimization.
· Analyze spend performance and spend data to forecast, assess market trends and develop procurement process and sourcing strategies to achieve cost reductions for commodities and categories.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain or related field, higher education desired.
· Recent years of tenure in indirect category management within MRO, opex and capex projects
· Strong in supplier management, negotiation, contract management. Risk mitigation and cost saving.
· Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills; excellent communication and people skills.
· Ability to advance to senior management level.
