Job Title: Senior Procurement Manager

Location: Miami, FL

Fulltime/Direct hire – (Hospitality industry)

Summary:

The Senior Procurement Manager will work with the Director of Procurement to manage all aspects of project and operational purchases for the company. The role involves managing a team of procurement professionals to ensure successful project completion by communicating clearly with clients and suppliers, overseeing project kick-offs, facilitating key review meetings, and managing the supply chain. The Senior Procurement Manager will also be responsible for time management, task prioritization, budget management, project reconciliation, issue resolution, and client support.

Responsibilities:

Manage project and operational purchases to ensure successful completion

Oversee team of procurement professionals

Communicate clearly with clients and suppliers

Manage supply chain

Ensure project adherence to budgets, timelines, and reporting deliverables

Lead the development of team members

Collaborate with Director to implement strategic plans

Provide reports to stakeholders as needed

Lead departmental processes to ensure strategies and directives

Prioritize tasks and allocate resources

Provide positive examples and mentoring to project team members

Experience within the FF&E Hospitality commodities including working with 3rd party logistics

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of purchasing and project management experience

Bachelor's degree preferred

CPM certification preferred

Experience in supply chain management

Experience in inventory, product sourcing, procurement, and purchasing

Strong leadership skills

Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software

Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of business and management principles

Knowledge of import procedures and practices

Knowledge of FF&E purchasing and fabrication details

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Sound analytical skills

Solid customer service skills

Effective communication skills with management, coworkers, and external parties
