Overview:


The Senior Payroll Specialist at Revvity, Inc. will join the Payroll Center of Excellence (COE) and will partner with HRIM and field HR teams to deliver processing biweekly multi-state payroll of approximately 3,000 employees using Dayforce HCM and provide a high level of customer service to the entire US employee population. This is a fully remote opportunity, ideally for a candidate interested in working east coast hours (6 AM - 7 AM PST/10 AM EST) with coverage across three time zones for the North American region.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Respond to internal employee and external auditor inquiries.
  • Field employee questions with the timekeeping system, DayForce.
  • Input and maintain employee files in Dayforce.
  • Process levies and garnishments as required by law.
  • Assist in special projects as needed.
  • Audit files from Dayforce or other sources ensuring high-quality of data integrity.
  • Process employee actions, address changes, tuition reimbursement, vendor changes (MetLife/t-pass), and other payroll data received from payroll mailbox.


Basic Qualifications:


  • Proficiency in Excel and MS Office
  • Associates Degree AND a minimum of 3 years of payroll experience AND


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Technical Skills: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent desirable; 3+ years related payroll experience; Multi-state payroll processing a must; DayForce system experience a plus; Solid knowledge of MS Office, especially Word and Excel; Hands-on Dayforce experience preferred, CPP certification a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills; Proven interpersonal and team skills; effectively communicates with and influences at all levels of the organization; Produces clear, understandable documentation geared for all audiences.
  • Ethics and Integrity: Business ethics and integrity beyond reproach are a must.
  • Business & Organization Knowledge: Quickly develops an understanding of the PerkinElmer business model.
  • Change Management: Exhibits a strong bias for action with a results-orientation; Tackles tough problems with firm deadlines; Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced results driven environment.


The hourly pay range for this full-time position is $26/hr - $28/hr. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
