We're looking for a Senior Control Systems Engineer in Jacksonville, FL or the nearby area to join our team! This position will focus on managing specialized work efficiently, with confidence and competence. The position requires above average attention to details, concern for the exact correctness of work, and strong commitment to tasks completed on time. The person in this position will take work seriously, has a strong sense of duty, and is disciplined. The position will generally be task oriented, requiring someone with a conservative, careful, and cautious approach to work.
General Job Duties:
  • Focus relationship building and lead generation towards C, VP, and Director level contacts
  • Consistent and timely data entry into CRM (Salesforce)
  • Prospecting and networking to develop leads and generate pipeline for new business via cold calling, LinkedIn prospecting, etc.
  • Develop long term market penetration plan focused on deal closing and increasing share of wallet with current and new client base.
  • Continuous research and education on emerging and existing industrial IoT technology
  • Coordinate all sales activities for assigned accounts
  • Close sales and obtain orders for GrayMatter products, services, consulting, etc.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed:
  • Prior sales experience required (industrial IoT experience preferred)
  • Ability to motivate yourself and manage your book of business
  • Bachelor’s degree (business or engineering related preferred) or 4-6 years of applicable working experience.
  • Moderate level of general computer knowledge and skills
  • Willing and able to travel (this position requires independent travel to customer locations)
  • Excellent interpersonal and social skills. Able to quickly connect with others
