Senior Outside Sales Jobs

Executes and expands assigned customer account plan(s) which is developed in conjunction with management.

Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.

Develops sales/supplier plans to drive account growth and retention while utilizing sales management tools to track and measure progress.

Develops and grows product knowledge through WESCO and supplier training.

Three to five years outside sales experience required

Four years industry experience preferred

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

3+ yrs of outside sales experience within the telecommunications industry

Experience selling Outside Plant Materials with an emphasis on Fiber Optic Construction Materials is preferred

Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite is required. Working knowledge of an ERP system is also required

Applicants should have strong communication and writing skills

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed:

Moderate level of general computer knowledge and skills

Consistent and timely data entry into CRM (Salesforce)

Continuous research and education on emerging and existing industrial IoT technology

Bachelor’s degree (business or engineering related preferred) or 4-6 years of applicable working experience.

Prior sales experience required (industrial IoT experience preferred)
