My Client manufactures and supplies complex electronic assemblies to the DOD and international customers for military and commercial applications. The company offers digital communications solutions including a full line of Improved Data Modems (IDM) in various hardware form factors with optional imagery transmission capabilities, or as software-only versions; imagery solutions with a TVDS / DVR (Tactical Video Data Server / Digital Video Recorder); and an Electronic Warfare (EW) product line highlighted by the AN/ALE-47(V) Countermeasures Dispenser System (CMDS)

Responsibilities –

• May provide technical support to and assist in determining the technical and manufacturing capability of vendor.
• Prepares long range planning for continuous improvement within the Business.
• Will lead a team of ~15, Assemblers, Inspectors and Test Technicians
• Responsible for establishing optimum utilization of available resources through efficient manpower management.
• Support the development of new methods, processes, and equipment and apply them to the manufacturing operation for productivity gains.
• Coach and mentor team members to deliver excellence to every internal and external customer.
• Will report to either the Plant Manager or VP of Operations
• Support high mix, low volume electronics assembly and test facility
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and build a consensus in a high-pressure environment.
• Will oversee the Operations environment supporting an aerospace electronics manufacturing facility.
• Drive Safety, Quality, Throughput, and culture within the business
• Lead team through successful development and execution of monthly plans to meet and exceed schedule, revenue, and cost requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Minimum Education/Experience -

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field

The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree e.g., MBA and closer.

Minimum of 5 years of people leadership experience required.
