About the role
We are seeking a Sales Insights Manager to join us to drive conversational insights that help inform business strategy and results, improve the sales motion and drive coaching for frontline reps. This individual will manage a small team of two analysts. An ideal candidate is a quick learner, sees around corners, is an excellent cross-functional communicator, and has a passion for building data driven solutions.

About the role

Develop Conversational Insights

  • Collaborate extensively with Revenue Optimization, Strategy and Sales teams to connect the conversational insights to bigger business trends to understand, predict and influence business outcomes.
  • Use knowledge and data analysis to query data, develop strategic insights, challenge long-standing beliefs, drive step-change improvements, and anticipate future needs.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of conversational data from Gong to determine key insights and how they relate to business drivers for investigating trends, decision making and coaching the frontline sales teams.
  • Assess, prioritize and continuously measure the highest impact conversation trends and integrate them into the regular business rhythm.

Stakeholder Management and Communication

  • Craft timely and accurate communications for business partners and senior leaders.
  • Communicate complex conversational insights in an easy to understand and action-oriented way to a diverse set of stakeholders through presentations and other deliverables.
  • Partner with other analyst teams to ensure sharing of best practices and user insights.
  • Champion the initiatives you are working on, cultivating confidence and passion for the vision with partners and impacted teams.
  • Partner cross-functionally to define and develop metrics and implement reporting tools to monitor performance and empower decisions.

People Management

  • Accomplish the functional objectives by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and evaluating results for direct reports.
  • Set clear team goals, delegate tasks and set deadlines.
  • Motivate team members and develop personal growth opportunities.
  • Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $138,600.00 - $221,400.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

  • Proven experience in Analytics, Business Operations, Sales Operations and/ or Strategy.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with ability to use data to tell a compelling story.
  • Highly proficient in varying analytical and data visualization tools (Excel, SQL, Domo, Smartsheet, Salesforce, and Tableau).
